Vibrant Technologies
Vibrant Technologies is a Business-to-business technology hardware sales company, located in Minneapolis, Minnesota, that specializes in reselling used and refurbished server, computer networking and storage area network hardware, including IBM, Hewlett-Packard and Cisco Systems as well as parts such as CPUs and peripherals. Vibrant is a General Services Administration Vendor. The company was founded by Jennifer VanDerHorst-Larson in 1998. As of 2007, it had 40 employees and generated $37 million in annual revenue. Vibrant was ranked the eighth largest woman-owned business by revenue for 2006 in the Minneapolis metropolitan area by ''The Twin Cities Business Journal''. A ''Processor Magazine'' article cited Vibrant as an "Everyday Hero" for its services provided to Ryan Construction and ''Business Solutions Magazine'' highlighted the company's 600% growth in the mass storage sector.
Vibrant offers a blog on the used IT hardware industry, ''The Remarketer''. The weblog covers topics on the refurbished market and perspectives on moves by the major mid-range hardware manufacturers such as Brocade Communications Systems and EMC Corporation.
